Facebook will allow users to delete their browsing history

Facebook announced that it will allow users to know which web pages and applications send their identifying data to the social network, eliminate that information associated with their accounts and prevent them from continuing to be stored in a browsing history.

They can do it using the tool “Clear History” (“Clear History”), which will be available “in a few months,” as described by Mark Zuckerberg, the head of Facebook, at its annual developer conference (F8), which takes place between today and Wednesday in San Jose (California).

Unlike other years, when he spoke of augmented reality, virtual, or artificial intelligence at the opening of F8, Zuckerberg focused on reviewing the measures the platform has taken to improve its privacy management.

Facebook is under scrutiny in that regard since last March, when it was learned that a British consultancy, Cambridge Analytica, had access to the information of at least 87 million users compiled by an application.
