During the F8 developer conference, Facebook announced that Instagram for Android is now able to work even without an internet connection.

With offline mode, the application now keeps the images loaded and allows users to post, comment, follow or do anything else.

Users will still be able to return to the profiles they visited before the data was interrupted, as well as older versions of the “Explore” tab or their own profile.

Once a connection is reestablished, the application will synchronize all of that data without the usage experience being compromised.
