YouTube announced that now it has three main guidelines aimed to prevent content producers from making money by producing hateful content and discrimination and making their videos viral.

The decision, aimed at appe asing advertisers, discourages hateful and humiliating content production. In addition, it also prevents the creation of satirical content derived from “family-friend” characters.

“We’ve heard from the creative community and advertisers that YouTube needs to extend advertiser-friendly guidelines around some additional types of content,” the company said.

Hateful content: Content that promotes discrimination or disparages or humiliates an individual or group of people based on race, ethnicity or ethnic origin, nationality, religion, disability, age, status, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or ethnic origin, or Another feature associated with systematic discrimination or marginalization.
Inappropriate Use of Family Entertainment Characters: Content that describes familiar entertainment characters engaged in violent, sexual, vile, or otherwise inappropriate behavior, even if they are meant for comedy or satire.
Humiliating content: Content that is incredibly inflammatory, inflammatory or degrading. For example,
