For some time Chrome OS has remained true to only notebook type, but Google now hopes to add a “greater variety of ways” so that the operating system can work on convertible tablets and notebooks.

In order to be able to equip different types of devices, the search engine intends to make changes and improve the touch interface in order to leave it with a better experience.

“Partners will be able to build a variety of forms with Chrome OS, including convertible, detachable and tablets,” said a Google spokesman.

With Android walking at a slow pace outside smartphones, Chrome OS seems to have gained the confidence and opportunity to move on to new fronts.
